Terms of use

Effective 1 November 2026. These terms apply to the SnapNail app and snapnailz.com website, provided by Funtika Ltd. By using them, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13; if you are under the age of legal majority where you live, use the service with a parent or guardian’s permission.

What SnapNail is

SnapNail is a personal habit journal. Photo grades, comparisons and suggestions are estimates for your own reflection. They are not a diagnosis, medical advice, or a promise of recovery, and they do not measure millimetres of nail growth. If you have pain, swelling or a persistent concern, seek advice from a qualified clinician.

Your photos and journal

You retain ownership of your photos and journal entries. You grant us permission to process photos as needed to provide the features you request and, during the disclosed public beta, to use contributed scan photos to test and train SnapNail’s nail analysis as explained in the privacy policy. Your local journal is not an account-based cloud backup. Keep your own copies of anything important before deleting data or changing devices.

Free journal and SnapNail Pro

The free journal includes one photo check-in per calendar day, your latest same-hand comparison, a personal plan, the pause, moment logging and reminders. SnapNail Pro adds additional photo check-ins, the full photo timeline, individual nail crops and overlays, and trigger patterns.

Subscriptions

• Pro is sold as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription through the App Store or Google Play. The store shows the exact price, currency and billing period before you buy, and payment is charged to your store account.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before renewal. For App Store subscriptions, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; follow the timing and conditions shown by your store. Manage or cancel in your store's subscription settings; access continues until the paid period ends.
• Restore purchases uses the store account that bought the subscription. Deleting the app or deleting journal data does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by the stores under their policies.

Public beta

While SnapNail is in public beta, every feature is free and nothing is charged. Beta features may change or be removed. Nail photos you scan during the beta may be kept and used to test and train SnapNail's nail analysis, as described in the privacy policy. If paid plans start, the app will show them before you can buy anything; you are never charged without making a purchase yourself.

Fair use

If a check-in cannot be processed it does not count toward your daily limit. The analysis service applies rate limits to prevent abuse. Do not upload photos of other people without their permission, and do not attempt to interfere with the service.

Availability and changes

Your local journal stays usable when the analysis service or store is unavailable. We may change features, prices for new purchases, or these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or on this page.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, SnapNail is provided "as is" and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

App-store terms and consumer rights

Your app store’s purchase, refund and license terms also apply. For iOS distribution, Apple’s standard End User License Agreement applies unless a different license is presented in the App Store. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.
